SST How we started:

In the year 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic raged across India, which led to the closure of schools. it affected the education of nearly 290 million children, and there were six million children out of school.

The ASER survey showed that 38.2% of children did not have access to smartphones, hence no education for them.

To tackle this misery at the regional level within their capability, the Shiksha Saarthi trust was originated by a bunch of old schoolmates with good hearts & kind visions.

We helped not only Students but also affected school teachers. We call ourselves Saarthis, who are pledged to continue this act of grace unconditionally till today and thereafter. Support us & donate for a good cause.

Who we are:

Shiksha Saarthi Trust is an NGO with a mission to help underprivileged students who have a zeal to gain knowledge and study. we are dedicated to helping such students achieve their educational goals, regardless of financial constraints. We believe that a child's access to quality education should not be contingent upon their socio-economic circumstances. With projects spread across various parts of the country, SST focuses on comprehensive educational support, including scholarships, environment awareness, academic tutoring, career guidance, and emotional well-being programs. Shiksha Saarthi Trust aims to bridge the educational gap by offering scholarships, mentorship programs, after-school initiatives, and a suite of digital learning resources. We believe that access to quality education should be a basic human right, not a privilege determined by one's economic background.

Who we are:

We run the following programs: -

A.) USRP

Founding principle of USRP:

• Financial Support/Grants in School/Institution fee: One of the most direct ways to enable study without financial constraints is through financial support offered to promising unprivileged students who can’t afford quality education. These can cover school/Institution fees, books, stationery, uniforms and more, enabling students to focus solely on their studies. These grants are given to unprivileged students through school, so mishandling of donations is zeroed down. Each donor gets 80G compliant receipt from the SST & and a receipt from the school with the name of the student. At the end of the education year, the results of the students are shared with the donor.
• Mentorship Network: Professionals from various fields volunteer to guide students in academics and career choices.
• Winter wear aid: Unprivileged students are given winter wear aid in adverse weather conditions irrespective of their performance in school.
• Equal Opportunity: Every child should have an equal shot at success, and education is the key
• Holistic Development: Alongside academics, the focus should also be on emotional and social well-being.

Impact:

• Over 290 students have benefited from the Shiksha Saarthi Trust USRP Program.
• Over 11 professionals are actively engaged in the Mentorship Network.

The organization is helmed by diversified professionals who advocate for educational equity with over 15 years of experience in public service and education.

B.) AI – Lab
